Dr. Scot Bradley Glasberg, a lifelong New Yorker, is a board-certified plastic surgeon recognized nationally and internationally for his leadership, innovation, and commitment to patient safety and surgical excellence.

A graduate of Columbia University (cum laude) and the New York University School of Medicine (with honors), Dr. Glasberg completed his General Surgery training at the University of Connecticut, during which he took time to pursue a research fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at NYU’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Glasberg is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He previously served as Director of Plastic Surgical Education at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center and as Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

A highly active leader in organized medicine, Dr. Glasberg is a Past President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF). He has also served on the ASPS/PSF Executive Committee and Board of Directors as Vice President of Development, Vice President of Advocacy and Health Policy, and Vice President of Finance. Currently, he serves as President of Plastic Surgery Practice Solutions, the for-profit subsidiary of ASPS. His professional leadership extends beyond plastic surgery. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American College of Surgeons and as President and Trustee Chair of multiple medical societies, including the New York County Medical Society, the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. He currently serves as a Councilor for the Medical Society of the State of New York and has represented the American Medical Association in official capacities.

Dr. Glasberg is a frequent advocate in Washington, D.C. and Albany on behalf of patients and physicians, speaking on healthcare, regulatory, and medicolegal issues. He has testified before Congressional committees and FDA panels.

His leadership and service have been recognized at the highest levels. He has received the Distinguished Service Award of the Plastic Surgery Foundation (2018), the organization’s highest honor, and the President’s Award of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (2008) for outstanding contributions.

A respected voice in the media, Dr. Glasberg has been featured on the CBS Early Show, NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN, FOX News, and WB11’s The Morning Show, and has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and the New York Post.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Glasberg has served, and continues to serve, as an advisor and consultant to numerous companies in the biomedical device, biotechnology, and investment sectors. His collaborations have included Allergan/AbbVie, 3M/Solventum, The Doctors Company, Vertex

Pharmaceuticals, Mentor, LifeCell, Corza/Surgical Specialties, Velius Inc./Red Rock Holdings, Guidepoint Global, Gerson Lehrman Group, and Healthcor.

His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and focuses on innovations in regenerative medicine, breast implant safety, breast reconstruction, keloid and hypertrophic scar treatment, and pediatric craniofacial deformities. He has received multiple awards for his research, including the Resident and Fellows Award of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, a clinical prize from the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Best Presentation Award from the New York Society of Cleft Palate / Craniofacial Centers, and the Best Paper Prize from the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Glasberg is regarded as an authority on regenerative medicine, breast implant safety, patient safety, surgical outcomes, and regulatory oversight. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World and was previously listed in Outstanding Young Americans. He serves on the attending staff at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital within the Northwell Health System.

Dr. Glasberg’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with particular expertise in regenerative medicine, breast implant safety, breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery of the breast and body, and wound healing.
